Dorothy Taylor Monroe

Obituary Date: Tuesday, February 23, 2010
Dorothy Taylor Monroe, age 70, of Gainesville died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at her residence from an extended illness. Dorothy, was a native of Buford, but had lived most of her life in Hall County. She was a retired C. N. A. from Limestone Heritage Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman R. and Annie Mae White. Ms. Monroe is survived by her longtime companion, John Jackson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Sal Rubiano of Monroe, Tammy and Don Wucinski, of Flowery Branch, Betsy and Judge Farmer of Gainesville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Tina Taylor of Douglasville, and Scotty Taylor, Monroe; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Pat White of Texas; grandchildren, Ryan and Erin Sims, Christopher Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, William Taylor, Jessica Wucinski, Nicole Wucinski, Taylor Farmer, Jud Farmer; great-granddaughter, Peyton Sims.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Paul Wade will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Foundation for the Ronnie Green Heart Center, 2150 Limestone Parkway Suite 115, Gainesville, Ga. 30501

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the Ronnie Green Heart Center and the ICU for the special loving care given to Ms. Monroe and her family.
